The Lightning High School Hockey League (LHSHL) today named Manatee Junior forward Tyler Stowe as the league’s Honda Player of the Month for November. Additionally, the league announced East Lake Senior Anthony Samarkos as the Cheerios Goalie of the Month.

Stowe recorded 11 goals and 6 assists for 17 points on the month and helped the Admirals win 5 games in November. He recorded a point in 5 of the 6 games the Admirals played in November, while also contributing 3 hat-tricks and a 5-point game.

Samarkos played in 4 games for the Eagle in the month of November, made 120 saves on 130 shots which was good for a .923 save percentage. Samarkos 1-1-2 against some of the best offensive teams in the league.

Stowe and Samarkos will each receive a personal replica trophy to recognize their accomplishments, along with their names engraved on the permanent award that will be given to both the Honda Player of the Year and Cheerios Goalie of the Year at the end of the season.
