The Lightning High School Hockey League (LHSHL) today announced the Stars of the Month, presented by Honda, for the month of September.

Riverview's Tyler Hoffberg was named the Honda Player of the Month, and Riverview's Patrick Boyle was named the Honda Goalie of the Month.

Hoffberg, a captain for Riverview, posted 14 points in four games in September to lead the LHSHL. He scored seven goals in four games, and had a multi-point effort in each game.

Boyle led all LHSHL goalies with 4 wins in September. His 1.50 goals against average and .933 save percentage were among the league's best during the first month of the year. He also posted one shutout.

Behind Hoffberg and Boyle, Riverview posted a 4-0-0 record in September, tied for the league lead in wins. Both players are featured in an interview on this week's Inside the LHSHL Podcast, available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and anywhere podcasts are available.
