HONDA PLAYER AND GOALIE OF THE MONTH: November

The Lightning High School Hockey League (LHSHL) today named Manatee Senior Nathan Bennett as the league’s Honda Player of the Month for November. Additionally, the league announced Berkeley Junior's, Heath Chancey and Spencer Rose as the Goalie of the Month.

Bennett scored 10 goals and 4 assists – 14 points in 5 games for Manatee in November that helped Manatee remain in a playoff position. Manatee sits in second place in the Modin Division.

Chancey and Rose, in 5 games combined to make 405 saves on 441 shots for a .921 average in November. Both players had a game where they saw over 90 shots. Their efforts contributed to Berkeley getting their first points on the year.  

Bennett, Chancey, and Rose will each receive a personal trophy to recognize their accomplishments, along with their names engraved on the permanent award that will be given to both the Honda Player of the Year and Goalie of the Year at the end of the season.
