The Lightning High School Hockey League (LHSHL) today named Seminole Junior JADEN REILLEY as the league’s Honda Player of the Month for October. Additionally, the league announced East Lake Junior, JACKSON GENTRY as the Cheerios Goalie of the Month.
Reilley scored 7 goals and 4 assists – 11 points in 5 games for Seminole in October that helped the Sharks remain 13-0 and undefeated on the season. Seminole sits in first place in the Lecavalier Division and the number one overall seed in the Western Conference.
Gentry won each of the four games he started in for East Lake in October. He made 94 saves on 101 shots, good for a .931 save percentage. In the month of October, Gentry and East Lake went 4-1. Gentry’s performance helped East Lake go from 4th place in the Bradley Division to tied first place.
Reilley and Gentry will each receive a personal trophy to recognize their accomplishments, along with their names engraved on the permanent award that will be given to both the Honda Player of the Year and Cheerios Goalie of the Year at the end of the season.
